The Jim Rottkamp State Farm Agency is your local Darien State Farm Insurance team here to help all of Connecticut with insurance! I’m originally from Hicksville, Long Island but spent most of my time growing up in New Jersey. I moved to Connecticut in 1999 and have been here ever since. I’m a resident of Fairfield, CT and my wife, Pam, and I have found it to be a great place to raise our two kids. We love that we’re so close to the beach! When I’m not in the office, I love boating, fishing, and golfing.

I went to the University of Delaware and got my bachelor’s degree in finance because I am on a pursuit to help people with their finances. I started in the insurance industry in 1995 working for State Farm corporate. My experience has allowed me to work closely with other agents and really learn how to provide customers with the auto insurance, commercial car insurance, home insurance, renter’s insurance, motorcycle insurance, rv insurance, atv insurance, boat insurance, business insurance and life insurance that fits their situation. I opened the doors to my State Farm insurance agency in 2000 and it has been a pleasure seeing my agency evolve and grow and customers turn into family.
